If you are a Disney fanatic like us, and you find yourself in Hawaii, you do not pass up the opportunity to visit Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa. This Polynesian inspired resort features multiple pools, waterslides, hot tubs, lazy river, luxury spa, character dining, ocean view dining, a variety of shows including live music & storytelling, excursion opportunities such as catamaran rides, and of course, their own beach and lagoon. They also have their own Luau! Although we did not indulge in staying at the resort, we could not resist visiting a Disney location so nearby and doing a little dining and exploring!

Here is where you can experience dining with Disney characters while enjoying a top-notch buffet and live entertainment.

“See the line where the sky meets the sea, it calls me…”

We were so excited when we found this little buddy! Stitch has much Aloha here, with multiple leis dressing the top of his head.

Even Moana made an appearance!

Danny, knowing me so well and being the amazing husband that he is, booked us a beach view sunset dinner at Aulani’s Ama Ama restaurant. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

After a delectable dinner and a little stargazing, we admired a few of the little magical details around the resort that Disney is so well known for. One of these last, were stones on the outdoor paths that would light up once in a while to reveal starry looking images in the night, like this hieroglyph style fish.

I have a feeling we will be back here again soon!
