There is certainly an overwhelming abundance of date night destinations here in Hawaii! A couple of our most visited nearby hangout spots so far have been the International Marketplace in Waikiki and the Ala Moana Center.
Our first trip to the International Marketplace area consisted of wandering around the dazzlingly lit courtyards and shops, enjoying a delectable dinner at Kona Grill, and finishing it off with a shared passionfruit créme brûlée!
We had seen people walking around Ala Moana before with these amazing looking macarons, so the next time we went we made it a point to find out where everyone was getting them. Turns out, they were Brick ice cream filled Macarons from Gen Korean BBQ! We tried the passionfruit flavor and the coffee flavor. Both were delightful!
Yep, they taste as good as they look!
